TCI Oceania Summit 2025

Where people and places matter.

TCI Oceania is thrilled to bring together the community of clusters, innovation ecosystems, hubs, districts, and precincts to the mid-north coast region of Coffs Harbour.

This marks a significant milestone in the Oceania conversation, focusing on the future of our collaborative ecosystems. We will be 'rolling up our sleeves' to explore the impact we can achieve together.

Held just before the Future Food Systems CRC's For Food's Sake event, this summit will showcase examples of collaboration from across Oceania. Additionally, we are curating a place-based experience of Coffs Harbour to fully immerse you in the region.

 

When: 25 & 26 February 2025

Where: Pacific Bay Resort, Coffs Harbour, New South Wales

 

This will be the perfect event for you to upskill and (re)connect with cluster and economic and regional development practitioners from across the Oceania region.

We are excited to share a number of events with For Food’s Sake, including the experiences, and an informal dinner on the Wednesday night.

Day 0

Monday, 24 February. 6pm onwards

Welcome Reception

For those who arrive on this day, it is a chance to meet up for a relaxed evening of introductions and connections.

 
 
 

Day 1

Tuesday, 25 February.

9am - TCI Network – introduction and update

9.15am - Identifying the ‘burning platform’, bringing businesses together for mutual benefit, examples from around the world. And Q&A

10am - Table introductions and discussions on what we have heard

11am - COFFEE BREAK

11.30am - Let’s hear from the collaborators themselves, including successes and challenges

12.30pm - What do we know from research?

1pm - Group discussion – what does this mean for us working together?

 1.30pm - LUNCH

 2pm - Kicking off collaboration, what to look for, how to find common ground?

 3pm - Where are the opportunities?

 3.30pm - What can we do?

 4pm - What is missing and what can we do? Policy? Funding? Do we need advocacy?

 5pm - CLOSE

 

Day 2

Wednesday, 26 Feburary. 9am - 8pm

Day Two: This is your chance to choose an industry-focused place-based experience around the region. And yes, one will include the Big Banana! You can join one of the food excursions, eco-tourism, or creative industries.

Relax in the evening with For Food’s Sake delegates at our combined informal dinner.

  • TCI Member price/For Food’s Sake delegate: $495 inc GST

  • TCI Non-Member Price: $550 inc GST

  • 24 February - Welcome reception, including drinks & nibbles.

  • 25 February - All proceedings at the conference centre (with own evening dinner arrangements).

  • 26 February - The day is full of our place-based experiences

  • 26 February - Combined dinner with For Food’s Sake.
